The last of three fall workshops geared toward new dancers! Intro to Veilwork will meet directly after the first Beginner Belly Dance Class of the fall and the week following Footwork & Finger Cymbal Fundamentals & Time to Turn. Veil is such a beautiful element of Raqs Sharqi (Belly Dance), so let’s get your veilwork flowing! We will breakdown the technique of basic veil holds & movements, then drill! Participants must have a grasp of common footwork patterns and basic turns; therefore, beginners are strongly encouraged to attend both Footwork & Finger Cymbal Fundamentals and Time to Turn on September 8th for the optimal Intro to Veilwork experience. Veils will be provided. $25/single workshop; valid for one attendee to Intro to Veilwork on September 15th, 2026 7:20-8:50 pm. Take all 3 fall workshops for $60 (see shop page).
