There is nothing quite like the resonant sound of the oud! Relax into the music and the moment, allowing the sound of live oud to lead us in movement improvisation. The workshop will include full warm-up, instructor-led taqsim exercises & notes, brief description of the maqam, and lots of live oud taqsim to practice improvisational movement! All levels welcome. $30/student ($25/Guild Member price), advance registration required. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your own water.
